Hideaway Riding School is a family own and run business, and we are proud to say the care and comfort of our horses is of top priority. If our horses aren't happy, our students aren't happy.
Brandy is the owner and riding instructor at Hideaway Riding School. She wears all the "hats" when it comes to the business. She cares for her horses every morning and every evening, rides and trains them (with knowledgeable friends), and knows all the ins and outs of every horse.

Brandy was always one of those crazy horse obsessed girls. She rode at every opportunity given when growing up here in Costa Rica. She rode on her Western Collegiate Team in the USA, has certifications in: Equine Assisted Therapy through FICAE and Emotional Education Instructor facilitated by horses through Equiemocion.
She has since been teaching children and adults the wonders of horses since 2021 here in her home town in Playa Potrero.
In her free time she can be found listening to podcasts, reading books and watching videos that help make her a stronger, more knowledgeable Equestrian and Teacher.
Vision
Brandy's dream is to teach others the wonder and joy horses can bring. She thrives to create a safe space for people to learn at their own pace and follow their Equestrian dreams, without judgment. Whether it be trail riding, jumping, barrel racing, competing or just having fun; she has a place for you to learn and is here to support you.
Helping others with disabilities and challenges through the use of horses.
Training stable minded and even tempered horses to use as all around companions.

They are all fantastic individuals who were hand picked and trained to fit our program. They are our gate keepers to the wonderful world of horses. Without them, none of this would be possible. This is why our horses health is first and foremost.
We will help you find the perfect match! Some horses Participate in Jumping and some in Barrel Racing.
